Practicing Compassion with Love and Tea

Practicing compassion is an important aspect of Tantra. Helping those less fortunate is a way of practicing compassion and also feeling gratitude for all the abundance we have here in the USA. Because of the situation in Tibet many Tibetans have been forced to leave their homeland and are living in refugee camps. My friend Kathleen Gorman lives here in Sedona. She is committed to helping support this Tibetan refugee camp which is located in Mainpat, India. She has created a website to make it easy to give and feel connected the this small community on the other side of the world. It is doing good works to help the refugees and they are also building a monastery there as well. Even small donations of $5-20 can help create miracles. Learn more https://www.tibetanstupa.org

Hi,
There is some great news on a new small business support program for the projects for the Tibetan refugee camp that Tibetan Stupa is doing! This ‘program’ started when a small family run, organic tea blend company, called Love and Tea, emailed to ask if they could arrange to donate a portion of their online sales to Tibetan Stupa. In just a short time, we easily worked out an arrangement, based totally on Love and Tea’s chosen donation amount, and we’re off and running.

Love and Tea does their bookeeping on a weekly basis, and so once a week, they simply go onto www.tibetanstupa.org and donate their chosen amount to any of the active projects they wish. A simple, easy and generous way for them to put as they say “Love in Action’ to help the camp. And a welcome contribution from small business for the people of the camp!

The thing I like most about Love and Tea’s giving program is that they did not want to wait until they were a big company with a big giving department, they want to help now. I really appreciate that, as just about all of what Tibetan Stupa has been able to do to help the camp has come from many, many people having exactly that same thought and that same action, to help with what they can, now.

If you’d like to check out the fine hand blended organic teas that Love and Tea offers, their website is www.loveandtea.com

If you decide to purchase any of the Love and Tea products, by entering ‘Tibetan Stupa’ in the ‘discount code’ box on the second page of their checkout, Love and Tea will donate a generous percentage of your online purchase to Tibetan Stupa. It is that simple!

If you’re a small business owner and like what Love and Tea has done and want to explore doing your own giving arrangement in your own style, please contact me at kcampkathleen at yahoo.com

If you have a favorite small business and want to let them know you like what Love and Tea has done, and ask them to consider designing their own giving arrangement to help the camp, please feel free to send them this email. They are very welcome to contact me at kcampkathleen at yahoo.com

Many thanks again to Love and Tea for initiating this wonderful giving arrangement and for their ‘Love in Action’ to support the camp!

Best,
Kathleen Gorman for Tibetan Stupa

Share Your Gifts-Create Beauty and Abundance

The day before yesterday, I bought a pot of tulips that were still tight in the bud. Today their red lips began to open and I could feel the gift of their beauty. Each one of us have so much beauty inside us to share. Spring is a great time to take a risk and share some gift we’ve been hiding with the world.

Blossoming Open, Sharing Your Gifts with the World

“There is a vitality, a life-force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and be lost.” Martha Graham

This is an amazing time and the world really needs everyone to show up fully. The time to blossom is now. In the past, you may have held back out of fear. Fear of failure. Fear of success. Fear of being seen. Fear of your own power and magnificence. The tendency to hold back and play it safe no longer serves you or the world.

You can no longer wait for some imagined future to act. The future does not hold the answer. You will not be more tomorrow, than you are today. Your unique gifts are needed in the world. That is why the time to blossom and share your unique medicine is now. Whatever is holding you back turn and face it. Ask the universe for the support you need you fully manifest your gifts and talents in the world.

Be generous; let the world see your true face. Decide right now to live for today and to share your love, your heart, your wisdom with others. Your generosity and courage will inspire others to blossom too. What would the world be like if everyone believed they were enough and were able to open their hearts and share their love freely?

Can you imagine such a place? We can only create what we can imagine. So imagine yourself bringing forth your Divinity. Imagine yourself creating a better world for your friends, family, children and grandchildren. Imagine a world based on love, respect, acceptance, and harmony and abundance.

3 Keys to Abundance

1) Let go of resistance.
Sit quietly and see if you notice any areas of resistance in your body or mind? Are you holding onto beliefs that prevent abundance from flowing in your life?

2) Open up and feel the energy flow.
Spend a few minutes doing and energy inventory, where is your energy constricted? Relax and breathe into these areas and see if they expand. See if you can increase the feeling of aliveness in your body. Notice any changes in the flow of abundance in your life over the next few days.

3) Practice the art of giving and receiving.
Flow has two aspects giving and receiving. Both actions are important in keeping abundance flowing. Flow is dynamic. If we hoard out of fear, then the flow is diminished. If we aren’t open to receiving then flow is rerouted around us and someone else benefits but we stay in lack. Notice your relationship to giving and receiving. Does one seem more natural to you than the other? Practice giving and receiving today and see what you discover about yourself.

Tantra Tip of the Day- 3 Keys to Abundance

1) Let go of resistance.
A couple of days ago while meditating, I was shown that just as a 1/4 inch pipe limits the flow of water, due to resistance created by the narrow diameter of the pipe, so to if my energy body is contracted then resistance is created which prevents abundance from flowing into my life. I then realized that I had allowed other people’s fear about the economy to contract my heart.

Sit quietly and see if you notice any areas of resistance in your body or mind? Are you holding onto beliefs that prevent abundance from flowing in your life?

2) Open up and feel the energy flow.
In the meditation I focused my attention on my heart and as I relaxed and breathed into my heart, I felt my heart expand. As I expanded my heart chakra I increased the flow of energy in my body. I immediately noticed an increase of financial abundance flowing into my life and it has continued since then.

Spend a few minutes doing an energy inventory, where is your energy constricted? Relax and breathe into these areas and see if they expand. See if you can increase the feeling of aliveness in your body. See if you notice any change in the flow of abundance in your life over the next few days.

3) Practice the art of giving and receiving.
Flow has two aspects giving and receiving. If you are feeling lack then open up to receive abundance in your life. If you are blessed with an overflow of abundance, then give to others that are less fortunate.
