Sedona Celebrates “Gems of Wisdom”

International Women’s Day is a global day that honors the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. Events are to be held across America and throughout the world. The Women’s’ Information Network will broadcast on live stream internet in 10 cities.

Sedona and the surrounding communities will be part of this historic, festive event, celebrating with speakers, entertainers and the participation of women from the greater Sedona area. Madonna Ministry International and the Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa will host the celebration. The Sedona-based gathering of women from all walks of life and many organizations will celebrate their own accomplishments of the past century. It will be acknowledged how far women have come, and their stories it took to bring them to today. All Sedona women are invited to share their “gems” of wisdom at this gathering. The words, phrases, quotes, that have inspired them-given to them by their grandmother, mother, sister, and friends-can be shared and passed on to future young women. Bring these contributions to be placed on the “Gems of Wisdom” Centennial Collection Board, which will be displayed for the remainder of Women’s History Month at a location to be announced.

For the ninth year in a row, Sex and Consciousness Educators, Guides and Practitioners will gather in Sedona, May 7-9, 2010. They will come together to share their knowledge and wisdom of Sacred Sexuality and Tantra with each other and the general public.

Sexuality is an important part of the human experience. Anyone who desires a healthier relationship with their sexuality is invited to attend the conference. This year the conference is being held at the Sedona Rouge Hotel and Spa, located at 2250 West Hwy 89A in West Sedona, AZ 86336

What a delightful day exploring the path to bliss. Ten people gathered in Phoenix and explored seeing the Divine in each other and in each moment. They learned how the create a bubble and share their desires, fears and boundaries. They visited their “Sacred Garden” and met their “Inner Lover.”

Energy flowed as we used the 3 Keys to open the “Inner Flute” and expand the awareness of our true nature. Joy was had by all as we let go of past and future and discovered the bliss that is in every, Now moment.

We ended the day with the Heart Wave Meditation. This meditation which is done in a dyad and is based on an ancient Tibeatan Buddhist practice, allows you to move beyond, personality, thought and ego and melt into emptiness.

Wow! It was my birthday and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate it than this.
